Teens inspired
I wasn't actually the most inspired. It took a long long time to figure out which piece to choose and how to make it my own. It took a longgg time to get this far and I still have a lot left but I really like it. I've actually really challenged myself this year and ik I got a lot of help from you but I'm still proud.

Sharky
This is my shark. The object I used is a pencil sharpener, and then I made a shark around it, and had the mouth open to the sharpener. It's quite clever, I think. So i started by covering the pencil sharpener in a tinfoil base, this was rough. It was really difficult to shape it the way I wanted and I had never used tinfoil before so I was confused. Then I did the paper mache which was gross and smelled awful. That took a lot of layers and a long time to dry. Thennnn I started by painting it white, then grayish white, then I added the black wet paint. Then I did the teeth (they sucked), I shaped them, fired, glazed, hot glued- I'm tired just listing out everything I had to do. Then I made eyes out of clay, glazed those, and finally painted the mouth. I was looking around the classroom for inspiration and I thought, pencil, pencil sharpener, shark eating the pencil hahahahahaha. Pictures will come later the table is super messy :)
Update/ Progress
So far I have finished my two dancing girls, my shark, my galaxy paint thing, I have my whale, I'm working on my mother and child and my saxophone. All together that is only 6... I'm nervous. Also I haven't taken pictures of any of these. Ok I now realize I need to make a blog for my shark... I don't think this is required but since I took my time to type it out I will post it

Inspired Artist
So I go to collosal.com and I'm looking thru the sculpture tab and the most beautiful art appears in front of my eyes. My inspiring artist is Gabriel Schama. http://www.gabrielschama.com/ this is her website she lives in oakland CA which means I will totally be going to visit her in my life. The pieces that I found of hers were laser cut wood. They were relief pieces and I shall show them to you now.

Ok here is her amazing beautiful inspiring work. Now its time to tell you why I find this artwork so awesome. First of all I love relief its just the coolest thing. Like a painting but 10000 times better. She uses lasers to create the most intricate details. I just think that relief has so much depth to it and this is definitely making me want to create a relief piece.

Cinemagraph
I created a cinemagraph of me walking.
I picked this bc I thought it would be like time travel.
Walking is special.
The hard part was lighting. It kept changing and had to smudge the dark stuff into light stuff to make it look less stupid.
Here I recommend staying indoors and around lights that are higher quality than the pods lights.
I created a cinemagraph of me walking.
I chose this bc I saw a hairdryer and thought that could work.
Hairdryers are not my favorite.
The most annoying difficult part was when my stupid spray paint didnt work. I should've made a cinemagraph of me hitting it.
I would recommend using a hairdryer it worked really well and was fun.

Stop Motion videos
Yikes here they are
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8qOeVS2u4oXcVK4LyaRpqsrKWMcIazKG
1. Easiest was straight ahead, it literally isn't a rule.
2. Hardest was probably anticipation we couldn't come up with an idea and then when we did it didn't make the most sense. It was also very similar to exaggeration and kind of follow through.
3. I have a love hate of stop motion videos. I think they were fun to film doing all the weird stuff but honestly so glad they're done. I think we've seen like 500 stop motions and thats enough for a lifetime.

Character design
This is my character design. She is supposed to be what the sisters looked like before they got their eyes stolen and were like evil.
Now I know this picture isn't great, but it is a great GREAT improvement. And before you start judging my pictures, try drawing on a computer... its not easy.
The Michael Jackson picture was on accident, but I'm still very proud of it.
What was successful: I made a person and it looks way better than my brainstorms
Not successful: the person is still ugly, and doesn't fit into the movie in any way.

Movie Assignment
The title is Kubo and The Two Strings, production is Laika. It was created by 3-D printing and stop motion. Some of the main people working on the movie were Cristina Acuña, Enrico Altmann, Casey Zander Anderson, John Aoshima, Andy Berry, Tony P. Chen, Trevor Dalmer. Monika Fedrick was the title graphic designer. She worked on a lot of famous movies doing graphic animation stuff. Gone Girl, Iron man2, 3, and X man were all famous movies shes worked on. A special part of this movie was the first entirely printed huge dragon. I saw it in the movie and it was awesome. I thought the most interesting part of the movie was its story. It was a little depressing with both his parents dying but I thought the whole journey thing and all the awesome graphics around the way were cool.

Intro to 3D printing
The most difficult part of this process was working on tinkercad, I hate this thing. It didn't let me sign in for days and then it was just annoying and kept kicking me out when I got in. I fixed this issue by waiting and occasionally it would let me work for a while. I don't think I would consider any of this successful tbh. If I could design anything it would be a replica of the human heart. Crisitina Yang anyone?
Intro to Vectors
This was a terrible project I didn't get it and it looks super messed up... sorry. This isn't successful at all, in the future I would redo the whole thing and yanno finish it.
